A physical donation is not the only way to combat blindness. As a not-for-profit your monetary donations help us underwrite transplants for those in financial need; fund research programs, giving us a better understanding of the human eye and eye disease; and get one step closer to unlocking the cure for blindness. Your donations also help create new community programs and fund existing community programs locally and abroad to help educate the public about the importance of ocular donation, and to enrich the lives of those who are visually impaired. It costs so little to provide priceless sight and a better quality of life for so many in your community and around the world.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the base of the Lions Eye Institute Foundation. With a small full-time staff and a calendar filled with wonderful programs and events, we rely heavily upon our amazing volunteers to help us achieve success in all of our efforts. Below are a few of the areas that the Foundation seeks a helping hand.
